WENDY ALFELD
Owner
Wendy Alfeld is the Founder and Managing Director of Multi Events Ltd, bringing nearly two decades of experience in event management, staffing, and event operations across New Zealand. Since establishing the business in 2007, Wendy has built Multi Events into a trusted and respected provider of event solutions, supporting concerts, festivals, corporate functions, sporting events, brand activations, and community events nationwide.
Known for her practical, hands-on approach and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes, Wendy works closely with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure every event is executed seamlessly. Backed by an experienced management team and a highly skilled workforce, Wendy and Multi Events Ltd offer comprehensive event services, from planning and logistics through to staffing, operations, and on-site delivery.
This version positions Wendy as a senior industry professional while highlighting the breadth of services and experience that Multi Events provides.

ALEX BRADLEY-BEACH
Group Manager
Alex joined the Multi Events management team in 2021 and was appointed Group Manager in 2023, taking responsibility for overseeing the operations, growth, and strategic direction of the Multi Events Group. With extensive experience in event management, venue operations, staffing, and licensed event delivery, Alex plays a key role in ensuring the successful execution of events and business operations across the group.
In his role, Alex provides leadership and oversight for Multi Events Limited, Multi Events Recruitment, The Crowd Care Company, Rehydration Water Stations, One Stop Shop, and The Assembly. Known for his practical approach, strong operational focus, and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences, Alex works closely with clients, partners, and teams to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Matthew Alfeld
Event Manager
Matthew has been an integral part of the Multi Events team since its inception, working alongside Wendy to help build the business into one of New Zealand’s leading event service providers. With extensive experience across all areas of event operations, Matthew specialises in intoxication management, duty management, staff leadership, site operations, and event logistics.
Renowned for his expertise in bar infrastructure, event build-outs, stock management, gating systems, and crowd queuing solutions, Matthew plays a critical role in the successful delivery of events of all sizes. His practical, hands-on approach, strong work ethic, and ability to remain calm under pressure make him a highly respected leader within the team. Matthew leads by example and is known for his unwavering commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and well-executed events.

DRISANA TUUTA
Logistics Manager
Drisana has been working in the hospitality and events industry since 2005, building extensive experience across a wide range of venues and operations throughout Christchurch. Her career began at notable establishments including Jade Stadium, The Elms Hotel, The Irish Bar, and Victoria Food Service, where she developed a strong foundation in hospitality, customer service, and event operations.
Since joining Multi Events Ltd in 2011, Drisana has become an indispensable member of the team and is widely regarded as the company's logistics expert. With exceptional skills in event logistics, bar operations, staff management, and team leadership, she consistently delivers seamless outcomes across events of all sizes. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, organisational expertise, and calm, professional approach, Drisana leads with confidence and precision, ensuring every aspect of an event is executed to the highest standard.

Nikki McAnelly
People, Process & Systems Manager
Nicola McAnelly (Nikki) brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the Multi Events team, having entered the industry in 2002 after completing her hospitality studies. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in customer service, team leadership, event operations, and workforce management. Alongside her hospitality career, Nikki spent two decades in public service management, which provided her with a unique combination of people-focused leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
As People, Process & Systems Manager, Nikki plays a pivotal role in supporting the continued growth and efficiency of the Multi Events Group. She oversees recruitment, workforce planning, staff scheduling, business processes, and internal systems, ensuring the organisation operates effectively and consistently across all areas. Nikki works closely with management teams to develop and maintain processes that support operational excellence and foster a positive, productive workplace culture.
Known for her exceptional organisational skills, strong communication, and attention to detail, Nikki is instrumental in aligning people, processes, and systems to deliver outstanding outcomes for both clients and staff.

Jackson Baldwin
Recruitment Supervisor
Jackson has been working as a Duty Manager since 2023, developing strong experience in venue operations, customer service, team leadership, and event delivery within fast-paced environments. His ability to remain organised under pressure and lead teams effectively has enabled him to quickly establish himself as a capable and dependable operations professional.
Jackson joined Multi Events in October 2025 and has rapidly become a valued member of the team. In his role as Recruitment Supervisor, he oversees recruitment activities, workforce coordination, and staff engagement, helping to ensure events are resourced with high-quality personnel. His strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach have enabled him to adapt quickly to the unique demands of event recruitment and staffing.
Working closely with both the recruitment and operations teams, Jackson continues to play an important role in supporting event delivery across the Multi Events Group. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement make him a key contributor to the success of the organisation.

Courtney Fraser
Executive Assistant to Group Manager
Courtney brings a diverse background spanning hospitality, event security, bar management, construction, and project management. After returning to the events industry in 2021, she quickly gained valuable experience across university events, major public events, and large-scale operations, working alongside leading event providers including Red Badge and P4G.
Courtney joined Multi Events in 2022 as a member of the bar team and quickly demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism, and operational capability. Following the completion of her Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) in 2023, she progressed into a Duty Manager role, where she now oversees event operations, staff management, and licensed premises compliance.
Alongside her work with Multi Events, Courtney has a background in sustainability and is currently studying law at the University of Canterbury. Her diverse skill set, analytical approach, and commitment to excellence make her a highly valued member of the team. Courtney continues to play an important role in delivering safe, efficient, and successful events across the Multi Events Group.

Kimberly Smith
Accounts Admin
Since joining Multi Events Ltd in 2012, Kim has become one of the company's most versatile and experienced team members. Beginning her journey as part of the bar team, she has progressed through the organisation to become a highly respected Duty Manager. Kim obtained her Certificate of Approval (COA) in 2018 and her Manager's Certificate in 2019, further strengthening her expertise in licensed event operations and team leadership.
With extensive experience across a wide range of event functions, Kim is skilled in intoxication management, staff leadership, event operations, compliance, and waste management. Her adaptability, practical knowledge, and willingness to take on any challenge have made her an invaluable part of the Multi Events team.
In addition to her event management responsibilities, Kim works part-time in the Multi Events office, overseeing accounts administration across the Multi Events Group. Her attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and commitment to accuracy help ensure the smooth financial operation of the business while supporting the successful delivery of events throughout New Zealand.

Wayne Newland
Director of Water
Wayne has been a valued member of the Multi Events team for several years, bringing extensive experience in event operations, licensed environments, and festival services. Alongside his role with Multi Events, Wayne owns and operates The Rehydration Water Station, a specialist service that provides free drinking water infrastructure to festivals and events throughout New Zealand, helping to promote attendee wellbeing and event safety.

As one of Multi Events' experienced Intoxication Managers, Wayne plays a key role in ensuring responsible alcohol management and compliance across a wide range of events. He holds both a current Certificate of Approval (COA) and a Duty Manager's Certificate, providing him with the qualifications and expertise required to oversee licensed operations and support safe event environments.

Known for his practical approach, reliability, and strong operational knowledge, Wayne is a trusted member of the management team who consistently contributes to the successful delivery of events nationwide.
